Rosalia has trained at both Kripalu Yoga and South Boston Yoga with David Vendetti and Todd Skoglund. Her style of teaching comes from over 13 years of practice, first in the fast-paced, challenging style of Bikram and Baptiste yoga traditions, and more recently from the slower Iyengar and Kripalu traditions. Rosalia’s classes, while keeping the flow of Vinyasa, will engender a sense of relaxation and openness, helping to build core strength and develop greater flexibility. Through breath work and deep attention to asana, her students can expect to discover a greater sense of well being and understanding of themselves both on and off the mat.
Originally from Buffalo NY, Rosalia was raised in Mobile, AL and attended college in Atlanta, GA. She lived in Washington DC before moving to Boston, where she has happily made her home for 14 years. In her spare time Rosalia enjoys traveling abroad, independent films, her pet Dutch rabbit BlackJack21, volunteering for the National Braille Press, and singing in the community choir at St Mary’s in Charlestown.
